# 1960 MGA 1600 Roadster**Mason Glass Black over Biscuit Leather**
**VIN: GHNL82434**
This beautifully presented 1960 MGA 1600 Roadster combines classic British sports car styling with an exceptionally attractive color combination of Mason Glass Black over Biscuit leather upholstery. Featuring the MGA's unmistakable flowing bodywork, low-slung profile, and timeless open-top design, this example captures the elegance and simplicity that have made the MGA one of the most recognizable British roadsters of its era.
The exterior is finished in a deep, lustrous Mason Glass Black that beautifully complements the MGA's sculpted front fenders, sweeping body lines, and distinctive chrome grille. Bright chrome bumpers, traditional knock-off wire wheels, fender-mounted mirrors, and a rear luggage rack further enhance its period appearance. The contrasting Biscuit leather interior adds warmth and sophistication to the striking black exterior.
Inside, the cockpit features Biscuit leather bucket seats with vertical pleating, matching door panels, coordinated carpeting, and a contrasting black dashboard. A classic three-spoke steering wheel, centrally mounted instrumentation, and traditional British switchgear preserve the MGA's purposeful sports car character. Black lap belts and MG-branded floor mats complete the interior appointments.
Power is provided by an MG inline four-cylinder engine equipped with twin SU carburetors, an aluminum-finished MG valve cover, and a traditional engine-bay presentation. The MGA 1600 was originally equipped with a 1,588cc engine producing approximately 79.5 horsepower, paired with a four-speed manual transmission. This combination delivers the engaging, mechanical driving experience for which these classic British roadsters are celebrated.
The car rides on painted wire wheels secured by chrome knock-off hubs and fitted with modern radial tires. The wire wheels provide an authentic sporting appearance while complementing the vehicle's traditional chrome trim and elegant exterior finish.
A black folding convertible top provides weather protection when desired, while a matching black tonneau cover offers a clean, tailored appearance when the car is enjoyed in open-top configuration. Removable side curtains accompany the traditional MGA roadster design.
With its rich black finish, inviting Biscuit leather interior, twin-carbureted four-cylinder engine, and classic wire-wheel presentation, this 1960 MGA Roadster offers an appealing combination of vintage British motoring character and timeless style. Equally suited for weekend drives, local car shows, or inclusion in a collection of classic European sports cars, this MGA represents an attractive example of one of MG's most celebrated designs.
